Do you ever have foot pain? Like real bad foot pain. Especially on the heel and it hurts more when you wake up? You may be suffering from a common condition that effects the fascia or connective tissue on the bottom of the foot. Better known as Plantar Fasciitis. There is a lot of pain involved in this and having the foot evaluated by a M.D. or chiropractor is crucial to getting better. However there are essential oils that can help with plantar fasciitis.

  1. Basil

Basil is not an essential oil you always think about but it has a lot of properties that help with plantar fasciitis. It has regenerative properties that help to diminish the damage done by the chronic inflammation. It has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties that help with inflammation and muscle spasms in the foot.

  2. White Fir

White fir is another great single oil for plantar fasciitis. It has analgesic which helps with the pain involved with plantar fasciitis.

  3. Lemongrass

This oil has great use for plantar fasciitis. It is been shown to enhance repair of connective tissue. I use this one personally a lot for tendon and ligament health as I use my hands a lot adjusting patients.

Using these big three on a daily basis on the foot will help to ease the pain and help to allow your body to heal the painful inflammatory condition along with getting proper care for it. This will help speed up the recovery process!

Using a carrier oil such as Jojoba oil or fractionated coconut oil are great because it helps to rub the oil in, so your skin absorbs it better.

I get asked a lot of which brand of oil is a good alternative to some of the more pricey oils and I have got to say that Rocky Mountain oils are fantastic great quality oils that are going to get you results. Check them out here http://shrsl.com/1ev7b-1si9-r175 (affiliate).
