Essential Oils for Muscle spasms
If you have ever had muscle spasms they can be a brute. Many of my patients have come in with muscles spasms of the back and they are nothing to shrug off. They can cause debilitating pain that can make you not want to move at all.

We have put together essential oil remedy for muscle spasms that works great and will have you feeling better. White Fir
First up is white fir. White fir’s main constituents are limonene, pinene, and camphene. These compounds are great for analgesic which means that it dulls the pain from muscle spasms. Applying this to the skin with diluted oil. Using jojoba or fractionated coconut oil for a carrier oil is good. Apply it to the area for comfort of muscle spasm.
Peppermint
The next oil on the list is peppermint oil. This oil is used for many different ailments from headaches to muscle pain to opening up the air pathways. It is one you want to have on hand at all times. Diluting this oil with fractionated coconut oil to put on the skin is the way to do this. Peppermint can be strong so diluting 1-2 drops in 3-4 drops of fractionated coconut oil is good. It makes it go longer as well.
Marjoram
Marjoram is a huge player in the muscle pain relief realm. It supports relaxation of muscle and for relief of nervous tension. Many massage therapists will utilitze this oil in their blends to help during the massage.
